Meg Braff host's Phoebe Howard for a book signing; photos of Meg Braff's Antique Store

On April 28th, 2012, Meg Braff hosted her friend Phoebe Howard for a book signing at her antique and design shop in Locust Valley, New York.  The event made for a lovely, laid back afternoon with some of Meg's favorite friends and clients who came to get their books signed by Mrs. Howard.  The gracious event was a smash -- everyone had a terrific time and had a chance to chat with both the charming Mrs. Howard and effervescent and inspiring Meg Braff.  The photos that follow the book signing are of Meg Braff's Store located at 92 Forest Avenue in Locust Valley, New York.

Lindsey Ellis Beatty

Decorating Editor of Southern Living, Lindsey Ellis Beatty, has super style and I thought I'd share a few of her rooms:
Love her choice of prints: geometric pattern on the window treatments and chairs, green cheetah, pink and teal on the pillows. And the tufted sofa.
Great Chevron pattern and the use of pink and green are terrific.

Love the cheerful green with the black furniture

Love how she paired the bungalow 5 table with the painted franch chair.

Great painted Chinoiserie Chair

Katie Ridder

I just got my issue of Southern Living Magazine and featured there was New York based designer, Katie Ridder. I really like Katie Ridder's vibrant use of colors and eclectic and ethnic patterns -- she seamlessly blends classic and contemporary in a playful way that just makes you smile -- her rooms are happy and full of life.  I love her use of aqua and chartreuse.  The top 6 photos are from a house she designed in Arkansas.
