Delightful Dining Rooms

I am helping my sweet friend decorate her dining room in her newly constructed house and have been looking for inspiration and thought I'd share what I found.  My friend is traditional and her husband (yes, he has an eye for this stuff) is more transitional -- a perfect marriage!

okay, so this is not transitional but can you blame a girl for loving this chinoiserie dining room? I love the murals and the gorgeous chairs.  Gotta love the understated chandelier via chinoiserie chic
I love the mural in this dining room and these hepplewhite chairs.

The accessories in this room just call out  to me -- I adore the tabletop pagoda and blue porcelain

How about the black and white giclee (or is it a tapestry?) Again, the pagoda with the flowers.  I love the intimacy of round dining tables.
Nice wall paper and how about that gold bench?

Rutie Summers -- I LOVE her style.  I especially love the chinoiserie wallpaper
Green is so cheerful and these chairs are smashing. I like mixing wood with painted pieces. The wallpaper is so subtle and I really like the geometric print of the curtains.  I also like the way wood shades are placed directly under the curtain rods. Ashley Whittaker

Great table and the chairs are swoon-worthy.  via chinoiserie chic
Great classic dining room set can't really sea the sea grass rug, but I love a seagrass rug in a formal space -- so southern

These chairs are so elegant

Teal chairs are super.  And who doesn't like the foo dogs?   The shade over the chandelier makes the space less formal and more current.  Again, the chinoiserie wallpaper is to die for -- I am going to have post my favorite wallpapers soon.  via chinoiserie chic
These upholstered chairs are dynomite in blue.  Love the contrast with the table and the brass fixture.

The fabric on these chairs makes the space.

Leather chairs -- who thought they could look so inviting?  And how about that large pagoda?

Lantern instead of chandelier
Distressed table and white chairs

All these white chairs in the dining room might be an issue for my messy family, but they add a punch of brightness.

These chairs are everywhere, but I still like them.  via decor pad
